Understanding the County Budget
The county's budget is comprised of many programs and services, including those required by state statute or those approved by voters in recent years. We encourage all members of our community to review the information on our Budget page to better understand where your tax dollars are spent and how they benefit - either directly or indirectly - all citizens of Summit County.
Contact the Board of County Commissioners
If you have questions or comments about the County budget, you can email all members of the BOCC at bocc@summitcountyco.gov.
Citizen Advisory Budget Committee
Summit County Government formed a Citizen Advisory Budget Committee in 2021 to involve the community in the County budget process and provide fresh insight for County priorities. Applications for this committee are currently closed.
